Schisms of Reality
Schisms of Reality is a collection of works penned over a period of 15 years. Writing the poetry was a stress-relieving technique used to vent feelings of frustration, anger, depression, loneliness, and loss. Later, I was inspired by other active events in my life, such as church life, love, and romance. As a movie lover and avid reader, I would also be inspired by these mediums. The title for this collection comes from the various themes and 'schisms' which came alive through my poetry. Each poem has a life of its own, and therefore, its own voice. Schisms of Reality has only been an agenda of mine for the past year, but I have loved the challenge of trying to blend this collection of poems together. I hope that it will be an enjoyable read for many, many people for years to come.
