Welcome Home, Son is the story of a prodigal son, not the prodigal son, but one of tens of thousands. The story of the prodigal is retold from the very personal and all too real perspective of a husband, father, and a credentialed minister of the Word who seemingly had it all together. However, on the inside he lived a life of secret addiction, self-condemnation and torment. One day it erupted into a painful journey. However, it did not end there. Just like in the story told by Jesus, this prodigal repented and was welcomed home. It is our prayer that fellow prodigals will find hope in this true-life account because, even though consequences of our prodigal journey must be faced, the Father is not in the habit of kicking the prodigal son in the pants when he finally comes home.
