Sinopec
Sinopec (China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation) ist ein chinesisches Erdgas- und Mineralölunternehmen mit Sitz in Peking. Das Unternehmen ist im Hang Seng Index gelistet.
Sinopec gehört zu den drei größten Mineralölunternehmen in China.
Das Unternehmen erschließt Erdgas- und Erdölvorkommen weltweit, besitzt Raffinerien und vermarktet seine petrochemischen Produkte.
Im Februar 2002 schloss Unipec, ein Tochterunternehmen von Sinopec einen Vertrag mit dem französischen Unternehmen Total Gabun. Durch diesen Vertrag kaufte China erstmals Erdöl aus Gabun. [1]
