Cerylalkohol ( Cerotin ) C 26 H 54 O findet sich im chinesischen Wachs als Cerotinsäureceryläther, auch im Wollschweiß , ist wachsartig, kristallinisch, schmilzt bei 79°, destilliert, gibt beim Schmelzen mit Kalihydrat Cerotinsäure .
