Simple, honest and credible

Chanda is a heroine without knowing it. She endures hardships European girls her age have no idea about. Still, it is thrilling and encouraging to read about her struggle to make a living in an African (fictional) country in which Aids is a rumour not seriously talked about and yet a theme that concerns the majority of the inhabitants. Read more about Chanda in "Chanda's War". Not enjoyable but truthful and stirring.
