Overall the story is good. There are some very good matchups and the battles are interesting. It also shows a few brief periods of the characters actually working together. However the fights between the characters is at times unfair and sometimes a character who would logically win, loses. In my oppinon they could have had more matchups. Also near the end of the book things start to get strange. However if you've ever been curious about how your favorite character would do then this is the right book for you!

Of course, many readers were expecting for this fight and I really enjoyed these comics but,... I don't think deciding some of the results via a reader's poll was such a good idea

Mit unglaublichem Hype kündigten Marvel und DC ihre große Kooperation an. Endlich würde man mal sehen, wie die Lieblingscharaktere beider Verlage es miteinander aufnehmen.Allerdings ist das, was dabei rauskommt, eher enttäuschend. Eine Story, die nur als Aufhänger für die Kämpfe dient, und die größte Sünde von allen: Nicht die Schreiber entscheiden über die Sieger, sondern die Fans. Als Marketing-Gag gut, für die Story aber vernichtend.So besiegt z.B. Wolverine (Marvel) Lobo (DC), was überhaupt keinen Sinn macht. Wolverine ist der wesentlich bessere Charakter, zugegeben, aber Lobo prügelt sich regelmäßig mit Superman und hat ihn auch schon besiegt, was ihn klar zwei Gewichtsklassen höher ansiedelt als den Lieblings-Mutanten. Und das ist nur ein Beispiel dafür, dass man lieber die Schreiber hätte entscheiden lassen sollen.Unterm Strich: Mißlungen!

When I saw this for the first time it was a must have, without a doubt. It shows the greatest of the 'superhero' community fight for survival of the entire world. It is well written and very well drawn, my only complaint was "Why wasn't it longer?

They did not have to do this story. Everyoe knows the Marvel heroes are more interesting then the DC guys any day of the week.
