März 1842 in St. Gaudens, wurde 1868 Interne des hôpitaux, 1870 Dr. med. und veröffentlichte: »Traité des maladies des yeux« (2. éd. 1876) – »Leçons de clinique ophtalmologique« (1881) – »Nouveau traitement de l'ophtalmie sympathique« (1890), sowie zahlreiche Beiträge für die »Annales d'oculistique« und »Archives d'ophtalmologie«.
