[1022]Vauvert (spr. wowǟr), Stadt im franz. Depart. Gard, Arrond. Nîmes, an der Lyoner Bahn, hat ein Schloß, eine prot. Kirche, Weinbau und Weinhandel und (1906) 3387 (als Gemeinde 4497) Einw. V. war im Mittelalter Wallfahrtsort.
