[825] Johnston, George Jameson, in Dublin, studierte an der School of Physic des Trinity College in Dublin, wurde Fellow des Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Master of Arts, Bachelor der Med., Chir.[825] und Geburtsh. an der Royal Univ. of Ireland, Fellow der Royal Academy of Medicine in Ireland, Surgeon und Dozent der klin. und operativen Chir. an dem City of Dublin Hospital, Demonstrator der Anatomie an der School of Physic des Trinity College Dublin, und veröffentlichte: »The application of hernial trusses« – »The superficial mapping of the fissure of Rolando, with description of a simple form of Rolandometer« – »A case of fracture of the first rib complicated by abscess opening into lung, with remarks on fracture of the first rib« – »The necessity for municipal ambulances for removing accident çases and cases of sudden illness from the streets«.
