Der in einen Esel verwandelte Lucius erzählt von seinen Irrfahrten, die ihn in absonderliche erotische Abenteuer mit einfachen Zofen und vornehmen Mädchen stürzen. Er trifft auf grobe Sadisten und homoerotische Priester, auf Transvestiten und Flagellanten.
