[156] Epimenides von Knossos (Kreta), Weihepriester zur Zeit des Solon, als Verfasser einer »Theogonie« genannt. = Als Welterzeuger traten hier Luft (aêr) und Nacht (nyx) auf, aus denen der Tartaros und das Weltei hervorgingen.
