College Hosp. und Westminster Hosp. thätig, ist seit 1877 Fellow des R. C. S. und zur Zeit Surgeon am Middlesex Hosp. u.s.w. Er schrieb: »On the rapid mode of cure of external aneurism by means of the elastic bandage, with a table of 72 cases« (London 1882), und in verschiedenen Zeitschriften, wie der Lancet (1877, 78, 80): »Why is organic stricture most common in the bulbous portion of the urethra?« – »Cure of external aneurism by Esmarch's elastic bandage«, – »On the radical eure of varicocele by the galvanic ecraseur«; in den Clinical Soc.
