Nohrin), 1) Andrews, geb. 1786 in Hingham in Massachusetts; studirte Theologie, war einige Zeit Lehrer am Bowdoin College, später Bibliothekar u. von 1819 bis 1830 Professor der biblischen Literatur an der Harvard Universität; er privatisirte dann in Cambridge u. st. 1853 zu Newport in Rhode Island. Jahre anonym eine Satyre Rout of the Dandies (London 1824); 1827 vermählte sie sich mit Sir George Chapple N., dem Bruder des Lord Grantley; die Ehe wurde 1840 getrennt wegen eines unerlaubten Verhältnisses mit Lord Melbourne, dessen Bekanntschaft die N. 1831 gemacht hatte.
