Parthenope (Mythologie)

[114] Parthenope (Mythologie), die zweite Gemahlin des Oceanus, die Mutter der Europe und Thrake; deßgleichen eine schöne Sirene, die eine Quelle bei Neapolis bewohnte, welches früher nach ihr Parthenope hieß. Sie wurde vom Apollon, der sie liebte, Mutter des Lykomedes.
